The past few weeks have been incredible and I’m about to reach a new milestone on YouTube: 100,000 views!
Since local paper, The Ham&High, put me on the front page, Habitat has received media coverage all over the world, making headlines from the UK (Telegraph, Evening Standard, Daily Mail, Metro and Huffington Post UK) to New Zealand.
Habitat has been played on radio stations nationally, including extensive coverage and interviews on Capital FM London & Birmingham. The London branch even played a jingle I made them!
Here is yesterday’s coverage
Not all coverage has been positive; some newspapers have been spreading lies about me. However, this has worked in my favour as it’s got my name out. Some papers even suggest that I’m “The Worst Rapper Of All Time”. That’s a matter of opinion, but not one that everyone agrees with; over three-quarters of those who voted on the YouTube video say they liked it! Just remember that music taste is a very subjective thing and it’s unheard of for everyone to like a song. I’m thankful that papers such as The Telegraph and The Ham&High gave me an opportunity to respond.
You guys, my new fans, have been open minded and incredibly positive. You’ve listened to my message and understand what I stand for. I really can’t do this without you and I’m so appreciative of everything you’ve done. I’m only at the start of my journey and I need you with me to help spread my positive message. Thank you for everything so far!
