Talented Producer Takes Break From Drum & Bass To Create UK Garage Remix Of Habitat

UK Garage was a hugely important music genre to me whilst I was growing up. 2-step Garage was my favourite flavour and I listened to it regularly during my teens. The genre still has the occasional mainstream chart success, although it doesn’t have the same momentum that it had about ten years ago.

Last year, I was blown away when UK Garage track Naughty Boy – La La La ft. Sam Smith climbed the charts around the world. I added it straight to my playlist. There’s just something about that 2-step Garage drum shuffle.

You know, there’s only so many times you can listen to your old skool UKG collection before it gets over-played. No, I won’t bring you any more “flowers in the pouring rain” (Sweet Female Attitude – Flowers), and I won’t say “Bo, Selecta” (Artful Dodger – Re-Rewind ft. Craig David) because I’ve heard your tracks too many times. I want to hear more UKG releases!
